Description

Grown since 1753. Young leaf stalks and flowering stems are cooked rather like asparagus. Can be picked regularly from established plants, started off the year before. Sometimes leaves are blanched in early spring. Silvery blue-green leaves. Also ornamental with white flowerhead up to 1 metre. Needs good drainage. Perennial. S/C 8  ORGANIC SEED
