FLAX var. Lisette.  Tall flax for fibre. Sky blue flowers throughout summer. Height 1m +.  Flax has been cultivated since 5000BC to make paper and cloth. Can sow in a block to prevent lodging (falling over). Hardy annual. Please note that currently we have limited seed of this variety. We suggest you grow out for seed for one season to produce enough seed for sowing again the following year. Then sow thickly at 15gm per sq. metre for fibre. Per packet we give approx. 2g seed for 1.5m x 1m block of plants. Grow these on to the autumn and collect dry seeds. Harvest and dry on further, then store cool and dry for the following season.  Linum usitatissimum ‘Lisette’
