Browse through the catalogue to check availability as we update the website often. Some varieties of beans are in smaller quantities and these sell out fast. Faced with a wide choice of varieties to grow, see the description of each and consider these points -

Some varieties are especially good for dried seed for winter use such as casserole bean dishes.

Some varieties are especially good for fresh green beans.

Some are good for both of these.

Some crop over a long period.

Some are Climbing and some are Dwarf. Dwarf varieties tend to mature earlier in the season. To cover the season, grow both.

Some do well in polytunnels.

Some are very leafy and need strong supports. Given these, they could act also as a productive windbreak.

Some have sparse leaves so could be the choice for a windy site, or a site that does not get full sun all day.

Some do not need much water and could be the choice if a holiday is planned.
